As Founder of Mobility UK, my drive comes from over 40 years of real caring experience. I looked after my mum after multiple strokes that left her paralysed on one side and struggling to walk and speak. She fell often using various walking frames, and every fall brought worry, hospital trips, stress for the whole family, and thousands in NHS costs for A&E, ambulances and inpatient care.

Over time I realised something no one talks about. Some of the equipment we relied on came with a hidden cost. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters gave her freedom, but they reduced her walking and movement. The less she walked, the less she could walk. It became a cycle that slowly took more of her independence away.

If we had found LifeGlider, everything would have been different. With the right balance between her scooter and the LifeGlider, her mobility would have improved, her falls would have been avoided, and I believe she would have had a longer, happier, more active life.

    If you have items that you no longer use, that are in good condition, please consider donating it and we will find it a new home.

Events and demonstrations

Sometimes, the only way to know if an item is right for you, like a wheelchair or mobility scooter, is to have a test ride. That's why we plan to hold events nationwide and offer private demonstrations as well. We can also arrange home visits depending on your location.

How do you offer free advice, what's the catch?

We've been where you are, as carers and people with disabilities. We've learned a lot through first hand experience and are happy to share our knowledge. Often a good chat is helpful and sometimes we may be able to provide the services or products you need as well.

How do we pay for our orders?

You can place your order without making a payment. This allows us to check your order and ensure we have everything we need to process it right. We ask for payment once we are ready to dispatch.

Do you offer instalments or finance?

We offer Klarna for paying over 3 months and Shop Pay that can offer finance over 12 months subject to application.
For high priced items we have finance providers that may be able to help.

How long for delivery?

Small stock items are usually sent out within 2 days. For larger items we will agree a delivery date with you. Vehicles are provided by trusted suppliers who will discuss collection or delivery with you.

What's the benefits of being a member?

We are growing the benefits for our members and will be providing discounts of services such as breakdown services, broadband, home alarms, shopping, EV charging as well as discounts on theatre and cinema.

How much is membership?
